David Woodford Named President of Test Devices

David Woodford, who has functioned as interim President since early 2015, has officially been named President of the company. Woodford has been with Test Devices since 1991, contributing to the company’s success as Test Technician, Procurement Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Operations, and Executive Vice President.
Serving a Growing Electric Car Market

Earlier this year, the International Energy Agency estimated that the global electric car total reached at least 1.26 million in 2015. The number of electric cars on the road has roughly doubled since 2014, and tripled since 2013.
Test Devices Expands to Meet Growing Production Demand

To meet consistently growing production demand, Test Devices has expanded its facility by close to 16,000 square feet. This expansion will support the spatial needs of the new subscale turbine testing program, as well as the building of new machines.
Test Devices Sells Spin Rigs to Meet Customers’ In-House Testing Needs

For customers with in-house operational testing needs, Test Devices sells three types of spin rigs: a production spin rig, an R&D spin rig and a dynamic spin rig. All three rig types are backed by Test Devices’ expertise. The company sells the same quality equipment that it employs for its own testing services at its facility in Hudson, Massachusetts.
New Subscale Turbine Test Rig Facilitates Studies for Next Generation of Jet Engines
