Test Devices, Inc. is committed to providing high quality services and products that meet or exceed our customer’s requirements. We accomplish this through product and process innovation, compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, and the continual improvement of our quality management system.

Test Devices has a long standing reputation of providing customers with high quality testing equipment and services and have devoted time and resources to building a sound quality management system over the past several years.  In fact, our quality management system has been audited and approved by several aerospace OEM’s.

In January 2006 Test Devices hired a dedicated Quality Manager, and made a commitment to obtain formal certification of its quality system.  Certification involved finalizing our quality manual and instituting multiple controlled procedures and processes throughout our test, engineering, and manufacturing organizations.  As a result of the hard work and dedication put forth by the company and Quality Manager, Test Devices’ quality system was certified to both ISO 9001:2000 (ISO 9001:2008 now), and AS9100:2004 standards.

The improved quality management system helps assure that Test Devices’ products and testing services are designed, manufactured, and delivered to the highest standards in the industry.  Our commitment to quality does not end here however.  Our quality manual, which includes a cross reference to AS9100 standards, will be updated on an annual basis.  Internal quality audits will be conducted yearly, at a minimum, with additional audits scheduled if quality problems reach unacceptable levels.  Additionally, Test Devices will be audited by an independent third party twice a year to assure we are compliant with our self-imposed high standards.

Test Devices’ quality management system, commitment to continual improvement, and certification status is proof of our desire to provide customers with the best quality equipment and testing services.

A World of Knowledge

When the world’s most advanced manufacturers of rotating equipment need the world’s most accurate spin testing systems and services to evaluate the critical components they’re designing and fabricating, they turn to Test Devices, Inc.

Test Devices provides rotational testing services and equipment to an array of demanding markets with exacting applications and requirements.

For its many aerospace, aviation and power generation clients, Test Devices offers rotational testing services and equipment that more closely represent operational engine environments.  Any closer to the real thing and components would be tested in real engines – a scenario that is simply too risky and time-consuming for most OEMs to pursue at the component level.

Safer than actual jet engine or turbine testing, Test Devices saves its clients millions of dollars through test simulations that more accurately replicate the arduous operating environments of engines. Full engine testing costs millions; high quality, accurate simulations cost a fraction of that.

Test Devices also provides comprehensive spin testing services and testing equipment for energy storage, air handling, automotive, electronics, and medical devices.

Test Devices has developed the world’s most precise, accurate and efficient test solutions because the company employs very experienced and accomplished scientists and engineers. For almost 40 years Test Devices has developed and advanced the science of centrifugal, vibratory and thermal stress testing and measurement of rotational components – critical solutions engineers need to evaluate the integrity and validate the life of component parts.

Test Devices provides the comprehensive spin testing results and data that engineers and scientists need to refine their assumptions, improve their models and select the best materials; in short, to research and develop the safest, most reliable, best-performing products in the world.

Working with Test Devices Makes A World of Difference.
