Automated Control Systems for Spin Pits
What is a control system?A control system operates valves, relays, and electrical components to bring a system to desired operating condition. Control systems can be configured to bring a complex system to set point based on user input or can be used to automatically operate a system over its entire range. Control systems are often used to control complex machinery according to a preset schedule or according to measured demands. They are also used in manufacture testing for proof tests, failure tests, and endurance tests. How can control systems reduce costs?Error can lead to delays and can jeopardize safety. Automated control of testing or manufacturing removes the possibility of human error, allows for increased accuracy of test results, increases overall productivity, and increases product reliability.
